hi Falk: (01)
Many of the experimental concerts in China since 2003 were documented
(either in audio or video format), though the quality is not always up
to the level, especially for video, as this kind of gigs usually
happen in a light-free environment. (02)
It seems to me that almost all experimental music fit the definition
of "deconstruction of traditional sounds and patterns of popular
music" (let me know if I'm wrong), so I would suggest that you contact
the following people: (03)
Junky (of Torturing Nurse): junkyyy at hotmail.com
Yan Jun (you probably knew him already): subjam at gmail.com
Li Jianhong: monkyking2 at yahoo.com.cn (04)
You can find bio of these artists in the "artists" section of
www.chinesenewear.com/menu.html (05)
What I'm also going to do is to post your msg to Global Noise Online,
a weblog informing and documenting Chinese new music / sound art. The
URL is www.chinesenewear.com/gno (06)
Hope these help, (07)
best, (08)
