I've gotten as far as importing an xml file full of vocabulary into a
protege project. They are imported as owl classes, not instances of
Data. This requires a quick automatic text substitution with BBEdit -
easy. The next step is auto-classification using Racer. I've never
worked with that yet. First, I will be working on learning how to
annotate the new vocabulary with properties - properly populating
properties - but I should use a SUMO inhabited project as a starting
point to inherit the upper properties. (01)
My someone unorthodox method: (02)
1. I use a macosx wiki notepad called voodoopad, which is a very easy
annotation tool. I read through the article clicking on new vocabulary
as I go to make new wiki links instantly. It isn't exactly
auto-extraction, but I would like to read the article anyway!
2. The vdpad outputs an xml file of all its linked pages (wikiwords).
There's your xml glossary.
3. BBEdit will replace all instance of a text sequence with another.
This allows me to put in some minimal owl markup, which is necessary
for having the vocabulary show up in protege as Classes rather than
instances. So I can instantly markup a 2 hundred word file. (03)
In Protege you drag and drop Classes to manually classify. I'm not in a
rush to get racer working. (04)
